Airfix 1:72 100 Years of Naval Aviation Collection (5 kits)

2009 marks the Centenary Year of Naval Aviation. It was on 7th May, 1909, that the Admiralty first set aside £35,000 for the development of an airship, beginning a process that was to lead to the formation of the Fleet Air Arm as we know it today. The five aircraft included in this collection ore representative of some of the key events, actions and heroic deeds of the Fleet Air Arm during the history of the service. The 5 kits are - Sopwith Pup, Fairey Swordfish, Vought Corsair, Westland Lynx and Harrier GR7.

This is part of our Legacy Collection. All parts still in sealed bags, but the box is slightly scuffed around the edges as is to be expected of a 2009 collector's kit.
