The Hawker Typhoon Mk IB, was a British single-seat fighter-bomber, produced by hawker Aircraft starting in 1941. Although it was intended to be a replacement for the Hawker Hurricane in the interceptor role, but the Typhoon eventually evolving into one of the Second World War's most successful ground-attack aircraft.
