The ICM 1:700 SMS Markgraf is a plastic scale model kit of the German Imperial Navy battleship SMS Markgraf, a König-class dreadnought that served during World War I.

About the ship

The SMS Markgraf was one of four König-class battleships built for the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine). Commissioned during WWI, she served as part of Germany’s main battle fleet in the North Sea, including participation in the Battle of Jutland (1916).

She formed part of the powerful German line of battle alongside sister ships such as König, Grosser Kurfürst, and Kronprinz, designed for fleet engagements against the British Royal Navy.

After the war, Markgraf was interned at Scapa Flow, where she was ultimately scuttled by her crew in 1919 along with much of the German High Seas Fleet.
