The T34 was the back bone of Soviet armoured units in WW2. Simple production methods ensured the Soviets could field numbers over the quality of German opponents. However, these vehicles were easily out gunned by the likes of the Panther and Tiger.
A slightly larger 85mm gun was installed in this variety along with improved armour which made a difference over its previous models.
