The Blue Angels, the aerobatic flying team of the US Navy, is famous around the world for their demonstrations of precision manoeuvres in wingtip-to-wingtip formations. The F-18 Hornet which they fly are high-tech aircraft developed to form the backbone of Navy squadrons.
