Monogram 1:48 Grumman TBM-3 Avenger (1996)

The first prototype of this three-seater, carrier based torpedo bomber flew for the first time on 1st August 1941. This all-metal midwing monoplane with fabric covered control surfaces was later fitted with a 14-cyl. Wright R-2600-20 Cyclone 14 radial engine. The wing tips folded up to reduce the overall dimensions in the hangar or onboard. This kit is taken from our Legacy Collection and is in great condition.
