Tamiya 1:72 North American F-51D Mustang Korean War

Initially designed for a British requirement, The P51D Mustang became one of the most formidable aircraft of WW2. In 1948 its designation was changed from P-Pursuit to that of F-Fighter and it was soon in action again in the Korean war. Serving there from 1950 -1953, it was slowly phased out for newer generation jet aircraft.
